You will first receive an invite to the Zoom meeting through email with a link attached.
Once you have clicked the link it will bring you to this page (Left).
You will then need to click the ‘Join’ button.
After you click the ‘Join’ button you will be shown this screen (Left).
You will need to select ‘Open Zoom Meetings’ if you have Zoom downloaded already. If you do not have it downloaded it will ask you to download it and will then give you the option.
Once you click the ‘Open Zoom Meetings’ it will start connecting you to the meeting (As seen to the left).
Once connected you will be shown these options (Left). Simply fill in the blank spaces, typing the name you wish to use and your audio and video preferences (Whether you want to be on mute and have your camera on or off), and press ‘Join’.
Once you have pressed ‘Join’ it will ask for the meeting passcode (This will be in your original email). Input the passcode and press ‘Join’, this will allow you into the meeting.
This is what your screen will look like once you have joined.
In order to change your screen name you will first need to click on the ‘participants’ button at the bottom of the screen (Circled Left).
Once you have clicked the ‘participants’ button this screen will show, you will need to hover over the ‘more’ button (Circled Left) and click ‘rename’.
Once you have clicked rename you simply type the name you wish to use and click ‘ok’.
